The workshop brought together experts and leading researchers from across the island of Ireland to discuss the evolving landscape of cancer research data infrastructure and explore opportunities for cross-border collaboration in tackling one of the world’s most pressing health challenges.
The workshop, organized in partnership with the All-Island Cancer Research Institute (AICRI), was supported by several key initiatives, including the HEA-funded North-South Research Programmes, AICRIstart, and the e-Health-Hub for Cancer. It was further facilitated by the UCD-QUB All-Island Cancer Alliances project and the UCD AI Healthcare Hub.
The workshop was preceded by the The University College Dublin and Queen’s University Belfast All-Island Cancer Alliances Partnership, a unique three-year partnership between two leading academic institutions on the island of Ireland focused on cancer research, innovation and training.
