Assistant Professor Antonio Garzon-Vico

Originally a philosophy and business graduate, Antonio currently conducts research on topics of business of biotech:

  • The impact of drug pricing on public sentiment analysis and firm performance
  • Corporate social responsibility
  • Cognitive biases in drug development decision-making
  • Learning from drug development projects successes and failures
    and teach business skills to science students (business planning, strategy and organizational behaviour).

Antonio holds a PhD in Business Strategy from the Smurfit School of Business. University College Dublin on Organisational Learning and Innovation in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Life Sciences Industry.

He has a MLitt. in Philosophy from the UCD School of Philosophy on Moral Dilemmas and Decision Making Procedures and a Licenciado en Filosofia (Degree in Philosophy) from the Universidad de Granada, Granada, Spain.
