Both have 9 parameters (FSC, SCC, FL1-FL7) and are equipped with 405, 488 and 642 nm solid-state lasers. Some key research applications include CD34 enumeration, signal transduction, antigen-specific T-cell detection and multicolour immunophenotyping. The violet version adds the 561nm solid state laser and two fluorescent channels. Additional research applications include stem cell/SP analysis, PE cell cycle analysis and mCherry/dsRed analysis.
