Entrance Scholar

Entrance Scholar Eligibility Criteria
The Award to be given to the Leaving Certificate entrant entering a full-time undergraduate programme with the highest points score from each school in the Republic of Ireland, provided the score is at least 500 points. When more than one student from a school gets the same points, each student receives the award.
The Award will also be made to applicants with the highest points from each of the mainstream EU qualifications, provided the score is at least equivalent to 500 Leaving Certificate points

Recognition for students

  • Celebrate Your Success:  Receive an official invitation to the Entrance Scholar awards ceremony to celebrate your academic excellence with peers and faculty.
  • Official Recognition:  Be presented with your formal Entrance Scholar scroll during the ceremony.
  • Permanent Academic Record:  Have your achievement officially recorded and published on your final University Academic Transcript.

 

Recognition for schools

  • Represent Your School:  Attend our Entrance Scholar awards ceremony as an official representative of your school’s academic excellence.
  • School Commemoration:  Receive a dedicated plaque to display at your school, honoring the success of your former students.
  • Reconnect and Celebrate:  Join your past pupils at the post-ceremony reception to celebrate their transition to university and their continued success.
