Wednesday, 1 November, 2017
Congratulations toSandi Ndebele, who, from a field of 21 AbbVie Interns, won theAbbVie Highest Impact Award(for Interns of less than 6 months), based on his performance with AbbVie in Sligo, during Summer 2017. Sandi, who is in Year 4 of the 5-Year Integrated ME Programme in Chemical & Bioprocess Engineering 2017-18, had interned with AbbVie in Carrigtwohill, Cork during Summer 2016.
AbbVie Early Career Programme Manager, Louise Clarke, explains that interns form a key part of AbbVie’s talent development strategy: “Our intern programme is our primary source for recruiting candidates for our Operations Development Programme and graduate direct hire strategy. Each year our interns continue to bring such energy and enthusiasm to each of the sites they work in and each year they raise the bar both in terms of the work they do and impact they make.”
