Cu(0) mediated reversible-deactivation radical polymerization (RDRP)

Project

Project Title:Mechanism study of the Cu(0)-mediated RDRP; Controlled polymerization of multivinyl monomers

Thematic Area: Wound Healing & Wound Care

Focus of Research: Skin Wound Healing

Overview:

To investigate the kinetic of Cu(0) – mediated reversible-deactivation radical polymerization (RDRP), which is a universal method for the polymerization of general purpose polymers. To identify the real mechanization is between the SARA ATRP and SET-LRP. Choosing different initiators, ligands, solvents and cupper species to successfully polymerize different polymers, like MA (methylacrylate), MMA (methyl methylacrylate), St (styrene), AM (acrylamide).
