Congratulations to CDR member
(opens in a new window)Dr Lucía Tiscornia, Assistant Professor at the
UCD School of Politics and International Relations (SPIRe), on receiving a prestigious
ERC Starting Grant worth €1.5 million.
Her project,
CRIMLATAM, will explore how criminal organisations operate in democratic societies with strong welfare systems, focusing on Argentina, Chile and Costa Rica.
This award is a major recognition of Dr Tiscornia’s research and an exciting achievement for the school and the University.
