Dr. Diogo Geraldes' latest article, titled "An Experiment on Gender Representation in Majoritarian Bargaining" (with Andrzej Baranski, Ada Kovaliukaite, and James Tremewan) has been published in the top-tier journal, Management Science.
The paper marks a pioneering effort in behavioral and experimental economics to study the influence of gender on outcomes and dynamics in multilateral bargaining. More specifically, the paper tackles intriguing questions such as, for example, whether there are gender differences in making the first offer, the tendency to leave temporary coalitions, or the propensity to make aggressive counteroffers, in the context of multilateral negotiations involving both men and women.
