Biographical History

A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, Bridget Stafford worked as a civil servant in the Department of Industry and Commerce and represented Ireland at the Labour Conference of the International Women’s Suffrage Alliance in Paris, 1926.

Archival History

This collection originally formed part of the archives of the National University Women Graduates' Association/Irish Federation of University Women (NUWGA/1) which were deposited in UCD Archives by Mary Hogan in 1982. 

Scope and Content

Irish Federation of University Women: programmes, agendas and reports relating to conferences (1925), council meetings (1931–2), the Committee on International Relations (1925–31), and affiliation to the International Federation of University Women (1929–32).

International Women’s Suffrage Alliance: tenth congress (1926) documentation and pamphlets (1923–6).
