Biographical History

The IRA in Kerry was organised into three brigades. As County Liaison Officer, Captain Mulvihill was responsible for receiving reports from each of the brigades, acting as the means of communication with the IRA Chief Liaison Officer at GHQ in Dublin. During the period in question, between the Truce and the outbreak of Civil War, communications are mainly concerned with breaches of the Truce.
