Cyclist & Road Environment Data Analytics (CREDA)
Across Europe, billions are spent on cycling infrastructure, yet many people still avoid cycling due to perceived safety concerns. Surveys, crash data, and traffic counts fail to reveal how infrastructure actually feels to riders, which is data city planners urgently need but lack. CREDA solves this by combining cyclist stress signals with precise location and environmental data, mapping where infrastructure feels unsafe in real time. This will provide actionable insights to design safer, more inclusive cycling networks that accelerate the modal shift.
