UCD Class Reunions

As a UCD class representative, you'll play a vital role in bringing your classmates back together and shaping a meaningful UCD alumni reunion. A class representative: 

• Acts as a central point of contact between fellow classmates and UCD Alumni
• Serves as the chief liaison and decision-maker on the date, time and venue for the class reunion
• Reviews class lists and helps spot any missing names or details
• Shares reunion news within personal and professional networks to help spread the word
• Encourages registration and attendance to maximise participation and engagement

UCD Alumni provides comprehensive reunion planning support to help class representatives deliver a seamless and memorable UCD alumni reunion. From early planning stages through to event day delivery, our experienced team supports logistics, communications, and coordination so you can focus on reconnecting with classmates and celebrating your shared UCD experience. Our team can help with:

• Data research; using our alumni database to collect class lists, sports teams, society groups 
• Contact detail gathering; supported by phone calling and social media outreach campaigns
• Event support; including bookings and logistics for UCD* venues
• Communications support; such as reunion invitation design and circulation
• RSVP management for your reunion gathering
• Event enhancements; including photography, campus tours, and inviting a UCD academic to speak
• On-the-day support materials; such as name badges, signage, and a welcome presence
• Gifts and memorabilia where appropriate

Selecting the right venue is an important part of planning your UCD class reunion. UCD Alumni can support reunions hosted on campus or at select partner venues in Dublin, offering familiar and meaningful settings for graduates to reconnect and celebrate together. Popular reunion venues include:

• UCD University Club
• UCD faculty buildings; including Quinn, Sutherland, O'Brien and others
• UCD Clubhouse Bar
• Ardmore House; the home of UCD Alumni

Any venues not listed above would be the responsibility of the class representative to source, book and manage independently.

UCD Alumni is here to offer guidance and practical options, helping ensure the process is clear, fair, and as straightforward as possible for everyone involved. Payment arrangements include:

• For reunions held at external venues or with external suppliers, individual payments are typically coordinated by the class representative
• For reunions hosted at UCD venues listed above, UCD Alumni can facilitate the collection of individual payments through Eventbrite
