The pilot UCD PATH 5 Bursary is open to all Traveller and Roma students in UCD. The aim of the UCD PATH 5 Bursary is to support access and retention/success by alleviating some of the costs of attending college. The fund is open to both part-time and full-time students.
Please note that funding is limited and is not guaranteed. During the academic year, applications submitted by the 23rd of each month will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and you will receive an outcome by the end of that month.
To be eligible for this bursary students must be:
- A member of the Irish Traveller Community
OR
- A member of the Roma Community
And will be assessed based on:
- Students must be a registered student at UCD either as a full-time or part-time student.
- Financial Need - Low household income (less than €50,840 a year).
- Entered UCD through an Access Admissions Pathway.
- Motivation to study at higher education.
