US Cancer 'Moonshot' Initiative: A Cancer Scientist's Perspective
In this short video, SBI research fellow Dirk Fey discusses the new US cancer 'moonshot', an initiative announced by Barack Obama in his State of the Union address in January 2016. To be led by Vice President Joe Biden, the initiative aims to double the rate of progress in cancer research. Dirk discusses the announcement in the context of his own research in neuroblastoma, a common childhood cancer.
